Early Years: 1980 Junior World Champion and 1981 USGA Girls' Junior Champion (held the record as the youngest ever to win a USGA event - 1981 to 1998). Mother Kathy Cornelius, and I are the only mother-daughter USGA Champions. Kathy won the 1956 U.S. Women's Open. Played collegiate golf at Stanford University (84-88) and earned NCAA All-American honors and all Pac-10 honors as a collegiate player. Graduated in 1988 with a BA in Sociology. Turned professional in 1988 and played on the Ladies Asia Golf Circuit, the Ladies European Tour, the Futures Tour, and Players' West Golf Tour. Played in three Weetabix Women's British Open Championships.
