If a player does not earn Priority Status, his/her low scores may still be rewarded with a Scoring Exemption. Players will be considered for a Scoring Exemption when they have met the following criteria:
- Played four official U.S. Kids Golf tournament rounds in the past twelve months
- Met the Scoring Requirement
Players who have met these criteria will be given a Scoring Average based on their top four scores from the twelve-month period. After the Priority Status registration period ends, players will be extended invitations in order of their Scoring Average (based on availability).
The table below represents the minimum score that must be met in a U.S. Kids Golf Qualifier, Local Tour, Regional, International or World/Teen World Championship in order to receive any level of Priority Status or a Scoring Exemption to play in a U.S. Kids Golf Major Championship. It is also used for determining whether siblings are invited to play.
